I finally bought Maus but haven't started it. I'm reading the other book I picked up - Jung Chang's "Empress Dowager Cixi - the Concubine Who Launched Modern China". Pretty engaging so far.

Johnathan Strange & Mr Norrell, by Suzanna Clarke. Actually recently finished it. This book was humongous, I never thought I'd finish it! An enjoyable read, well written and researched, about two magicians who bring magic back to life in England.
