El Narco: The Bloody Rise of Mexican Drug Cartels - ive picked this back up as I started it ages ago , lots of history about the start and reasons for the drugs trade dating back to very early 1900's through to modern day - fascinating to read about the actual facts - one been the admission now of the American government to buying opiates from the Sinaloa etc parts of Mexico to make morphine to give to troops in world war 2 as pain relief

Elfquest the final quest, graphic novel. I have loved reading theses stories by Wendy and Richard Pini since I was 13 years old.

Before I start in with zombies in the new Walking Dead series, Fear The Walking Dead (starts on August 23rd) I'm going to finish the vampire trilogy I started reading. I 'm pages from finishing the second book of The Strain Trilogy, written by Guillermo del Toro and Chuck Hogan. If the name sounds familiar its because the first book titled The Strain was made into a fairly bad television adaptation. The books are, as usual, far better.
The books are:
1. The Strain
2. The Fall
3. The Night Eternal
.

Excellent books. Tolkien started my love of the fantasy genre.
