Moab is my Washpot was brill, would love to read more autobiographical stuff from Fry (MimW finishes age 20ish).

I'm currently on 1984 by George Orwell. An astounding book. So hard to believe it was written over 60 years ago!!

Starstruck by Cosmo Landesman; a autobiographical work about his experiences of growing up with parents who were obsessed with fame and being famous. An enjoyable and funny book! What surprised me most was that, for all their pretension, snobbery and dillusion, Fran and Jay Landesman come across as really quite sympathetic characters, who have lived very interesting lives.

Next I plan to read the notorious Wetlands by Charlotte Roche, to see what all the fuss is about! Grlaugh

Recently read American Gods by Neil Gaiman.

If you wondered what happened to all those gods in whom people no longer believe ...? Brilliantly told and original tale.

Duma Key - Stephen King right now. I'm not sure if I like it yet, nothing scary so far.

Then I'll be reading the second book in the His dark materials by Philip Pullman, The Subtle Knife cuz the first one was breath taking.

And in English I am currently reading The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time by Mark Haddon for school, and I will be re-reading Tunnels by Roderick Gordon and Brian Williams, this time in English. The book about the dog is rather interesting. It is narrated by an autistic boy which makes it funny and ant the same time sad.
