It would appear he isn't going to try to be gay and a footballer at the same time. He may fair better this way.

Quite a few footballers are hot. It'd be nice to see a few footballers from the top division coming out. I can't be 100% sure, but I do believe there will be a few keeping it secret due to the backlash from the fans.
