That reminds me of advice I read once on how to find other gamers for D&D, a roleplaying game obviously inspired somewhat by JRR Tolkien's work (including hobbits/halflings). It advised posting up index cards at gaming stores with minimal but essential info on what you were looking for (and how to contact you). It gave good examples, and also gave some examples NOT to imitate, one being, "Looking for someone to love my halfling." :eek:
