Being a total bottom makes it hard to date because there aren't many men especially int he philadelphia area who are total tops
Most of sex takes place in the brain. You need to mind masturbate to get a decent hardon. Clearly you are more into porn than real sex, but then porn it typically exaggerated. Real sex is usually far more messy, less coordinated and most guys don't talk dirty or even grunt on cue. So you have this expectation of smooth moves, hot vocals and get into bed and none of that is there (or so little it doesn't count).
Of course the 'real thing' isn't going to meet your expectations, thus you lose interest (lose erection).
Topping to expand the number of men you can hook-up ....
I have a strong opinion against random hook-ups and this sort of attitude in general.... Its just the wrong reason to want to be a top or be versatile.
When (if) the right guys comes into your life and really rocks your world you will find no problem in mounting him like a prize stud horse.
As of July 2011 the population of Philadelphia (proper) was 1,536,471
If half the population are male, that means 768,235 of them are men. If we stick with the 1% of the population being gay, then we have 7682 of them being gay.
Assuming that only one in three are tops, that means
2560 top men are in Philadelphia at this very moment.
Mind you, Philadelphia has a 'gay center' and there are more imports to Philadelphia who are gay - Urban settings tend to draw LGBT more than rural settings.
Then you have New York City, Boston and several other large metropolitan areas to visit. You also have millions of tourists streaming through Philadelphia to look at the Liberty Bell and other points of interests per year. around 1.5-2% of those will be gay.
Its not like you live in a small village out in the middle of the most conservative part of oh, say California where there is only one gay bar for scores of miles around and the gay drain leaves the population under the 1% for gay men (Gay drain, most rural gays move to a large city to be with their own kind, leaving a few rural gay men and ironically tons of lesbians behind).
Mathematically, there is no reason for you to 'top up'. you just need to put yourself in places where there are more gay men to choose from.
