If you get the chance you must try gaegogi. When I had it they cooked it in a wok and when they threw in the rice alcohol it bursts into flame, woof! Very spectacular.

I adore goi cuon. It's so minty and fresh! The vietnamese restaurants here are quite few, Along with Cambodia and Laos, Vietnamese food has the least restaurants in my area.

Other than the classics like Pho and the such, actually I don't know much about Vietnamese food.
I just know that I love food from South East Asia, in my opinion, it's one of the best places in the world for flavour.

Aint that the truth? While its not southeast asia really, my bf is korean and his mom is one of the best cooks Ive ever met. She makes such delicious Korean food it would make you wanna slap yourself its so good. I think its kinda funny that she hates going out to restaurants, especially American restaurants, cause she feels like she can cook better food at home than what they serve in the restaurant(which is true in most cases) She makes her own kimchi at home which is delicious as well!

Korean food is so tasty and fresh. And they eat rice with everything, Rice is one of my favorite foods.
