nice weight loss diet tool
#1
I tend to diet more efficiently if i track what i eat, how many calories and track exercise at the gym. i am using a free iPhone app "myFitnessPal" and aside from being a free application seems to work ok. I select from a list of foods I have eaten or scan a bare code in. It tracks the protein, carbs, etc from that list

-it is not very interactive on the exercise front, i re started going to the gym and the application dosnt track the additional calories (like 600) i use up at the gym

-the user interface has a cluttered look and not self evident.

it is free tho, has anyone found a better situation?

Bah. I need to regain weight. I lost 40-50 pounds this past year due to stress. I also lost about 20 pounds of that of lean muscle mass Cry.

As to losing weight, no need to sit there and count the calories. Just switch up the type of foods you eat and eat until full

Eat more produce on your plate than meat and starch. Filling up on steamed veg before you stuff yourself with starches and meat and you will eat less calories. Produce has less calories, so you can eat until full and get far less calories than stuffing your face with doughnuts to get full Wink.

Beware hidden fats and sugars. Prepackaged foods have fats and sugars added to up the calorie content, thus a box of whatever which would feed two people (to fill their stomach) has enough added empty calories to qualify as a meal for 3-4 people.

Also can your own produce. They add sugar to whole kernel corn (for flavor) Rolleyes Fresh, ripe corn immediately canned has more than enough sugar for its own flavor, one doesn't need to add a tablespoon or more of sugar to the jar. Or freeze your veg that you raise in your garden.

Trust me, spading the soil, pulling weeds and turning the compost heap every fortnight will burn a lot of calories.

Sorry, there is not an app for that.

Or you can just move to the U.S. I lost 15 pounds on January when I moved to Fort Lauderdale. I haven’t been able to get them back ):

not everyone lives at the "Grey Gardens" has enough space/time for the optimal victory garden.

n. america 47+% are obese, get over the starvation fear.

for permanent radical changes in diet its nice verify you are getting most of the necessary things so in 6mo your weight is back and or your body is in shut down. New habits in an environment where everyone is clinically obese, there just is no reference.
