I finished Syberia II
I can't say I was disappointed, it's just that the first one ended so well that nothing can beat it.
It was very good, just different, it was very beautiful, and had a different feel to the first one, a more primal, great wastelands, and hidden tropical island in the middle of the arctic feel whereas the first was very emotional and based around 'lost towns of the ages' and the such.
But I just think for long adventure games, a good ending is an absolute essential, because you kind of owe it to a person who's put in like over 10 hours in many cases.... o.o
But doesn't matter because a third is being made! I wonder how they'll manage to create the same visual feel because the art and design was very much suited to the old style of graphics, where everything was a tiny bit hazy.
