Jason Collins, a center in the NBA, just came out. so far he's the first active player to come out and so far he has a lot of support. of course there's negative feed back from some bigots but we're reaching the point where it's being frond upon.

even the supportive people are like "why is this news" because they think it should just be natural. i think it is news and it's a great thing, especially if he can be a positive role model for young gays. it's got to be nice having someone other than elton john or liberace to look up to.
