I'm not a fan but I liked so much a lot of their album. Honestly i do not loved Valtari (not a bad album) and I'm waiting for the next one.
I think I will see the band live, in the future.

Ágætis byrjun is one of my favourite albums but most of their other stuff is nice as background material but with more active listening it doesn't really do it for me. Ágætis byrjun is enough for me to love and appreciate them a lot though - such an awesome album! c:

he did a solo album but is still with the band. they are coming out with a new album in june. he also does original scores for some films
