There are Christians here, you know. A new view on Christanity is that Jesus re-wrote the first testament with the command "Love thy neighbour as thyself", the "New Commandment". Such Christians are often wonderful, brilliant people.

This is why religion cannot be discussed civilly, no matter what is said about anything religious it is always going to be a 'personal attack' on someone else, and those someone elses are always going to be offended and get defensive, all over something that is written in a fucking book?

I've always said that the religion itself isn't the problem; it's the individuals. Christianity is just as good and just as bad as any other religion or lack of religion. Humanity sure is screwed up though.
