I can only be brutally honest, because anything else would just be as bad as what is happening to you now.
If your mother loves you, then she loves YOU....not who you prefer to date.
If your mother is so shallow and self absorbed that she cannot be human enough to love you just being her son, then I say she isnt worth your time.
Go on with your own life, and create your own family with people who do appreciate you for the person you are.
That may be harsh, but thats what I believe.
