I've only had my partners name for the last 18 months.
But before that No, it didnt bother me about carrying on the family name.

I was 20 when i came out, like most young gay men back then itwas impossible to tell what you may or may not want in the future.

I could care less about caring the family name on... It's a fucking name. I wouldn't be any different if my last name was Johnson or Paul.

I took my partners surname yes when we entered a Civil Partnership last year.

it's no different. except can only be done in a register office and not a church (you can guess why)
