His biphobia rant in the bisexuals thread crossed the line, backed up and hit it again, then peeled out over the line once more. If anyone came here and made similar comments towards homosexuals, every one of us would be tearing them apart. I'm fine with dfiant coming back, but I hope he learns from his mistakes and treats others with a little more respect if he does.

I really really like Defiant, I will miss him.

To be frank, he was wrong about bisexuality. "It's real, it exists!" and denying anyone bisexual that recognition isn't fair. But Defiant is a good person, and he certainly wasn't intending harm. And, he was on the ball when discussing the perspective of how someone who is bi-sexual will have to choose one gender to be monogamous with in a relationship, effective making that bi-sexual person gay or heterosexual in terms of that relationship. Not that they stop looking at both genders in terms of "You're hot!", but it was still interesting. Honestly, nothing was too off key or offensive, I think he was just trying to share his opinion.

I think, personally, that his opinion should have created a healthy discussion, or a learning opportunity. I'm also disappointed that it turned out like this. I think we're here on this forum to learn from what we share we each other, and when someone disappears, we have that much less.

Leaving this in case he ever stops to read this thread someday: If you don't come back Defiant, I will miss you. And if we never see you again, I hope you have the best life you can have. .

Dfiant voiced his opinion. People got offended. Regardless if it was offensive to the bisexual community. He did not direct it at anyone in our community. He did not say a name therefore as harsh as you might find it and how much you disagree. Keep it shut and dont yell at dfiant because he didnt single you out. The point of that thread was to assist a members disorientation and bewilderment. He was speaking to the poster not anyone in our community. So shut the trap like it didn't happen. The point of the thread was missed. save it for another thread that he might've choosen NOT to take part of because he probably would've had some courtesy and with held his statement. His opinion was for the poster's ears and the poster's ears only. if you heard it well shut it because it wasn't for you and don't instigate and make a major fuss. I thought we were a tad bit more mature ladies and gentleman. I am disappointed by this outcome.

Although he did single people out when he called the people who disagreed with him "dumb cunts". Just saying.

I think what a lot of people are offended by is not the bi stuff as much as his hissy fit where he basically said go fuck yourselves......i know that's what turned me off.....very mature.

Don't worry, I'm quite disappointed with the ragequit. I think this all could've been handled alot more smoothly.

I don't believe that was said in his very first post. so the constant deviation of the original topic and the sudden turn on him and his post might've led him to lose his temper. he even gave hints as to why he didn't believe in it. it was for the poster's ears only- just to give depth and variety to someone who wants nothing but opinions. But apparently all we want here is static and unanimous opinions. The man asked for opinons- he got it- people didnt agree- the solution was not to blow him up on that thread, but to create an entire new thread discussing that- in which dfiant could've chosen to withold his opinion and not even get himself worked up. Instead he was blown up in a thread that he wasn't even exactly aiming to send a blow to the bisexual community. he stated he knew people werent going to like it, but the people that didnt like it should've taken it to another new thread.
