I pretty much avoid newspapers and the news in general, a lot of the stories they tell bring out the worst in people. I do look through the local paper at the job section though.

Saw some homophobic tripe about how "gays" being able to marry was tantamount to brothers being allowed to marry their sisters.

Never read a newspaper again xD

Reading the Newspaper is so last century. Now days we have the interwebs with far more reliable news resources and solid truth.

I stay away from any news because of my personal issues with bad news. I do well... I didn't know about the explosion in my own city or about the fact that the whole country was about to sink underwater during massive floods.
I have enough bad news brought to me by my boss to have my stomach tied in knots, I don't need our crazy corrupted politicians to make me feel even worse.
