Holy shit.....all that from a bunch of supposed grown men, just playing with a ball.

Yep, humanity is dead. No doubt about it.

This is just so awful. I cannot imagine the pain the family must feel. I simply cannot imagine the pain they must be feeling right now. I don't even know if it is right that I posted it. It is so horrible.

Yes, very bad stuff Mr. Chase. Very bad stuff.

If I am remembering right, something very violent happened back in the late 90's or early 00's over there with the soccer games. I think the government banned soccer altogether for some time.

I think that Eurosports should be televised ONLY and have no actual live spectators.
They are very barbaric over there.

For every action there is always and equal reaction.

It is just so barbaric. I just could not bare to have a family member who was stabbed to death over a soccer game, or for that matter bare to have a relative who became a murderer and then was murdered.

My goodness, someone takes their fotbol (soccer) seriously....

Wait didn't the Aztecs do something similar with their ball games - one of the teams where sacrificed or something at the end of the game? Apparently for Brazil this is just tradition and nothing to fret about.

The Aztecs lived in Mesoamerica, not Brazil.

Call it war and it is perfectly ok...pay a game of soccer and it is 'shock and awe'?

Nobody finds it perfectly okay when it comes to war, we've just been desensitized after so many years of violent conflict. Whenever a single Swedish soldier in Afghanistan or any other war-ridden country dies the media over here goes crazy and people are expected to mourn the loss of a sacred national treasure - it's ridiculous really.
