I'm new on the forum and one of the projects I am working on is my debut novel, which will be out around the end of this year:

DE TWINKY COAT!

...It all started when Leo De Twinky loses his coat at the Glow Nightclub in town after winning the annual Twinks Contest.
Leo and Christy, his friend, are rapidly, without warning, caught in a terrifying spiral of intrigue that very same night, when Leo is tied up on some church gates in a VERY uncompromising position, and thus begins the trail to uncover the terrible secrets which threaten the very sanity of all in the city and yet which may hold the key to a shining new future.
The countdown has begun, and the forces which threaten chaos from within the heart of the city's gay scene appear to be unstoppable.
Unless Leo and Christy can get there first...

The mockery is remorseless, the puns unrelenting, in this new novel. However, you will have to wait until the end of the year before I get it completed and sent off to a few publishers who are showing interest.

FYI, 'De Twinky Coat' is best categorised as a Gay Comedy Thriller, but it crosses a lot of other genres such as Crime, Sci-Fi, Alternate History, Erotic, etc...

BTW, is there a 'I'M NEW' Thread where newbies like me can post first? I tried looking repeatedly with the Search Function for such a thread but NOTHING came up at all to indicate one.
any help would be much appreciated so I can post in that thread if it exists!

Hi, Thanks again, Trial By Error; BTW, I've just come across a forum labelled 'Introduce yourself', so I'll have a little look on that. Maybe there should be a link button to this at the top of the Forum Home; this would help new members and most of us know when we join a new forum the general procedure is to post as early as possible in a specific Introductory thread.
Anyway, to introduce myself a little and to keep on topic, I would regard myself as having been a onetime twink, from when I was about 17 in 1980 up until I started growing a beard around 1983... Even though I'm in Great Britain, it was particularly hard being a twink around 1980, as the legal age of consent was 21, and to top it all, AIDS began to rampage through the Gay Community, which put young men like me back in the closet for a decade or so, as famous gay men that I adored, like Kenny Everett, Freddy Mercury, Leigh Bowery, etc were dying before our eyes....
