starbelly Wrote:Oh god, how I love ice cream. I'm a type 1 diabetic so I can't really eat it often, but I love any sort of coffee flavored ice cream. Tillamook also has this cinnamon bun flavor, and a toffee mocha one that is great. Gelato is pretty good too, I've had some really great caramel gelato before. Damnit, I want ice cream now. Please excuse me while I go into a diabetic coma.

Im diabetic, and I eat the Slow Churn Dryers Ice Cream. It has less carbs and sugars than the other ice creams....for non diabetic ice cream that is.

BlueBunny sells "no sugar added" ice creams that are pretty good, but have limited flavors.

There are diabetic friendly ice creams out there, you just have to find them.

I will look for a diabetic ice cream recipe. If I find one, I will post it on my recipe thread.

Ben and Jerry's Cookie Dough. I've only had it like 2-3 times because it's so unhealthy and expensive but DAYUUM.

Frozen yogurt is nothing more than ice cream with a tiny bit of dried yogurt cultures put in the mix.

Thats why all those frozen yogurt places went out of business so many years ago.....they were found out its nothing more than soft serve ice cream with just barely enough yogurt cultures in it to keep them from being sued for false advertisement and business malpractice.

Of course they made a killing off the stuff, seeing as they charged three times the price of regular ice cream.

Youre better off putting two scoops of ice cream in a bowl then putting a small container of real yogurt on top.
