My new flat is looking GORGEOUS!
#1
I'm really proud of my new flat.

I would the describe the decoration as very simple, minimalist but modern and, above all, practical.

The key word is versatility. I love it when I find an item that serves multiple functions and spares me time, money and space.

A couple of nice ideas (any other tips are more than welcome!):

- Built-in wardrobes and bookcases

- Readapting the existing built-in wardrobes instead of building a new bookcase as was originally intended (saved me a fortune!)

- Bed (sommier) with storage compartment

- Glass table instead of conventional desk (less space, much easier to move, more versatility and more beautiful!)

- Bedside table with integrated light (I don't need to buy a new lamp!)

- Adaptable table (I still haven't found this one, I want the glass version)

Minimalist. Ah, a man after my own heart. The table is ingenious but a bit ugly. It looks a bit like an ironing board

Congratulations anyway on the new flat. Now, how about some photos?

I'll post some photos soon, guys. The furniture only arrives in september and I need to get the place clean first. Smile

Yes and no, Sweetie.

It's great but it's a lot of hard work, too.

Architects tend to snub interior designers and decorators but they really shouldn't: it's an art form and a complex science.

Thanks, Baby.

Maybe it's because I'm a Virgo but I really do believe that a good decoration and a well-organized home can greatly improve your quality of life. I feel GREAT in that house, that's for sure.

The flat was cleaned today and it looks wonderful. On Friday, I'll be getting the first piece of furniture: a gorgeous glass table that only cost me 120€.
