I can relate to much of your strory. I guess the hardest part would be "being in the middle ground". People can see that you're not interested in girls but you don't have boyfriend either. This remains an issue for me, somehow it makes me difficult to make friends.

Anyway, English is not my first languange either. I come from Indonesia where the society still hold this conservative view of homosexuality. General view of the people here: homosexuality = transgender = sinful = hell.

I would expect Indonesia to be difficult with an islamic majority. I don't really know how haevy it is for you there but I can imagine. Over here Catholics are not much better, and while tecnically there is some freedom regarding the subject, the church still has an influence in everyday life matters of most people. Also there's ageneration rift. My generation has absolutely no big issues with the subject, but turn back to our parents and it all changes dramatically. My country is not extreme, but still very conservative.

I appreciate you share a bit of you here. You and I know how crappy it is to keep this side of ourselves hidden. You are not alone. And with your words I know I'm not alone.

So thanks.
