Here's a guy that is extremely popular with the ladies but not with gay men: the talented Ryan Gosling.

I saw Only God Forgives in a packed theatre in Berlin, Germany and you could feel the excitement in the audience when Gosling first appeared. One of the ladies actually cheered!

My personal opinion on Ryan Gosling: very handsome guy (not my type, though) and a wonderful actor. I am and always was a huge fan of his work and I hope he keeps doing it for many years to come.
