WOOF!!!!

Well all know where I stay on this :p.

However I find the sing songy , lilting tones of the Trinidadian or overall the Trinbagonian accent the most pretty and sensual accent of them all.

Oh my gosh, this guy here at de supermarket de odda day... Gurl when I say hot peaches... And I don't mean the cobbler... Im-blushing-smiley

When I heard that accent I nearly flopped like a beached whale with excitement lol...

Listening to the BBC a lot, I hear many many different foreign accents when they interview people from far away countries or from those that are near. I'm amazed at how these foreigners can make themselves understood despite their various accents. On the BBC you also hear some very lovely voices, let alone some really interesting accents. The UK and Ireland already have several very distinctive accents with Scottish origins, Irish origins, Welsh origins and some of foreign ancestries... You'd hear a South African accent, a Caribbean accent, a New Zealand or Australian accent, an Indian accent or a Chinese accent and wonder and marvel at the diversity, and yet they are all understandable. For us European French speakers, a deep Québecois accent can be like a totally foreign language, though.
