Natto is probably considered gross for some foreigners in Japan. Even some Japanese people don't even like it. It's technically fermented beans that you can stir up and see some bacteria strands. It smells quite pungent, but once you get into it, it actually tastes good.

Also eaten raw fish and raw squid as well as eel and octopus in Japan, tried a Belgian delicacy of raw beef mince when I was dating a Belgian.

The ABSOLUTE weirdest thing um ever ate, was a friggin well Iguana egg and I will say one ding!

I would never eat that ever again! I stick to my regular foods thank you, Spaghetti & Hamburger, Goulash, Pizza, Hot Cross Bunz, & Gnocci gurl!

Although, some people find dishes like Roti which is Trinidadian(Indian influence), Ackee & Saltfish which is Jamaican and Fish Chowder & Paw Paw's which is Bermudian(British influence?), weird , but I don't quite find them weird. However I don't eat Fish like the rest of my peoplez.

Sausages - ive been told by people on gs they’re very weird and i thought i swallowed a pen lid once but when the ambulance arrived we found it under the chair cushion and one time i only had plain chocolate and bread and made chocolate bread

I guess it depends on what kind of sausage it is. I think blood sausage is gross, I would never put that in my mouth.....YUCK!!!

I love Dolmas. Greek Dolmas, not Turkish Dolmas.
Dolmas is grapeleaves stuffed with spiced rice and fermented in a vinegar/oil/spice solution.

I friggin love dolmas/domades in that way you described, it is how they are most often found here.

I prefer serving them with a squeeze of lemon on top though, most of the ones we get here are canned (even from green take away stores) though it is possible to find an old greek lady that makes them fresh in store.
