27 Problems Only Introverts Will Understand

28.- When you have to call someone you don't know and you instantly go on panic attack mode

Yes, this. And the pacing that comes before it.

Or when you have a social obligation at some point in the future and it consumes your every waking thought for at least two days before it happens, making you practically useless at doing anything productive or enjoyable.

Yep...plus it keeps you from sleeping...

and then there's a number 30

30.- When your family or friends forgot to tell you you have a social obligation the next day.

My family does that a lot...sometimes they don't even tell me till the very same day :frown:

I'm copying this from the comments on the buzzfeed page:

"#28 When co-workers/relatives asks about your weekend, plans for holiday... or your love life."

^^ That happened to me twice yesterday! Once when I was checking out some books at my college library, the guy checking them out started asking if I like going to bars. I said no and he kept pestering me about it. "Come on man, you don't like to bar hop? Everyone likes to bar hop!" Yeah... not me.

And another time last night at an event I had to go to. This woman I know mentioned that I've lost a bit of weight recently (yay!) and asked how I did it. I just said that I think it's because I'm happier. She then said "Oh, do you have a girlfriend?"

O_o

No, I said. No I don't.

That's a nightmare and should be considered some form of abuse. Jesse3

It took my friends 10 years to understand that I love them even if I can only be with them for a few days in a row before I have to lose contact with humanity and be on my own for a while.

Try to tell them that...they just put on their "wish I had a normal kid" faces..They'll probably kill themselves when I tell them I'm gay!

Holy crap; this list is spot on. It's amazing how nobody but introverts understand any of this. Everyone expects me to be an extrovert at all times, and that ain't gonna happen.

This is why I absolutely love what my partner and I have. We both travel a lot for work, and alternately have the house to ourselves. We spend time together and vacation together, but also get plenty of alone time.

It's bad if oneis an introvert, but also hates silence. If my mind is left to its own devices, I go seriously mad and depro! Sad

lucky for me, my dad and sisters are introverts so I don't get pressured to go out by family and my friends are finally starting to get it. unfortunately I went and did something no introvert should do, I got a job at a call center, and it's killing meSad. I'm happy I have a job but as soon as I put on my headset I feel like crap until I take it off.
