I have no doubt now that all the states will sooner or later just accept it and stop fighting over the issue.

A lot of those who are currently opposed, when they are being fully honest with themselves will agree that they have already 'lost' this war, they know that gay marriage is inevitable.

Politicians are just going through the motions, anti-gay ones are just trying to save face to appeal to their base with the comeback 'Well I tried'....
