That's a very nice sentiment, Londoner, but so hard for humans to achieve, it seems.

We are biological animals, with urges to spread our seed far and wide. We are social animals, with needs/rules of society that sometimes are in conflict with our biology. We are moral animals, which can be its own confusing can of worms.

Monogamy, while admirable, is not the only honorable lifestyle choice. In theory, it provides for safe sex. In practice, it's often not so easy.

Amen to that! I'm sure I'll eventually want to settle down with one way special dude. But right now I like the idea of sleeping with more than one person (always use a condom). I guess I want to make the most of my days of wine and roses. :biggrin:
