Lou Reed - Rock n Roll Icon dies.

Lou Reed Dies age 71

Devastated to wake up to this news this morning.

Lou Reed had a liver transplant back in May this year and appeared to be recovering so his passing last night (Aussie time) is a shock.

just got in from work and heard the news - he influenced a hell of a lot of people - ive posted Velvet songs on GS many times in the music thread - The velvet underground with Nico is a classic, my favourite By Lou with John Cale is Songs For Drella , great song writing on the album
