It truely is a sad story, heart breaking, but donating money isn't going to help him as he is one of millions that are eligible for welfare until they find a job or whilst they are completing studies.

I am also extremely skeptical about how much of my money would reach this guy anyway after administration costs.

Give a man a fish, you feed him for a day, teach the man to fish, then he can feed himself for life.
