Not as bad as Rick Santorum saying he'll crusade against America's apartheid - which he says is Obamacare.

In the words of George Carlin, "I don't have pet peeves. I have major psychotic f*****g hatreds!"

That being said, I hate when I'm driving down the major avenue that eventually connects to my street, and people veer off to the right really slowly cause they're going to turn a half-mile up the road. Then I have to sit there wondering if they're going to actually turn or veer back into the middle of the road while going 10 mph under the limit because I can't pass them.

Other than that, people quoting movies without replicating the character's tone, and when gay guys don't accept male bisexuality as legitimate.

RN's who don't grasp the english language in an English Speaking country sufficiently to understand that her patient is reliving his 20's, and is NOT talking about life in the 21st century.

The fucking bitch couldn't even understand my years of practice pronunciation to understand half of what I was saying, let alone the old man's slurred, gravely, verbiage about life on the hospital ship he was on in World War II.

A huge Medical mistake is being made here, she thinks one thing when clearly the patient is delusional in a far different manner. Even the doctor said that knowing in which time the patient living is important to know what is going on.

So I have sent a scathing voice message to the doctor demanding him to replace the nurse that attends MY client with one who understand english sufficiently enough to know that this 'little problem' is a lot bigger than the RN on duty appears to understand.

Go back to India until you can understand english. Jesus.

Something that grinds my gears is seemed intolerance...

yes, I do get it it's been a completely stressful time to you..but let's not pour it all on the Hindi girl..different it is, regardless of of being lost in translation, is she's doing a poor job..

Now, for the record, shen may learn all the English she can, and still the accent will be a problem

I know, cause in dear old Latin America we have the same problem amongst ourselves..

Colombians, Mexican, Argentineans, even Spanish themselves with the "s" and the "z", etc. we all have different accents and use different words in the Spanish language which others may not use...hence we all speak the same language but we can hardly understand each other at first

Normally I would agree. Just not this time.

In a job where miscommunication could mean the difference between life and death, you had better know how to pronounce the local language as clearly as anyone else.
