But it's not a very bad thing. Ok, honestly I think that energy drinks are shit, they're full of shit, not only caffeine.
But being addicted to caffeine isn't necessary a bad thing. When I was going to the high school I used to drink a lot of coffee everyday, for a teen, and I have an addiction, i never went to the doctor and blahblah but I have a light addiction, at least.
Then I started drinking less coffee at the uni, etc. Long story. XD
Caffeine is useful to work. Even today that I'm not working If I don't have my daily coffee I'm a little dazed and tired.

I don't drink coffee, but in my hometown there's a coffee grain processing factory..about 3-4 in the afternoon the blocks sorrounding the building are filled with the smell of toasted coffee grains

I drink coffee, black and strong and maybe with a half teaspoon of sugar.

In the days I had a percolator I would let it simmer on the stove and slowly strengthen overtime. Now I am forced to drink that watery swill from the coffee maker.
