My doctor prescribed me Viagra
#1
For those who don't know, I have Multiple Sclerosis (MS). I have diminished feeling in my lower half and very little in my penis (including bladder control). Since I was 22 my erections became weaker, my orgasms became less powerful and my ejaculations became merely a couple of drops. My doctors all made this off to be minor and I agree I have worse problems.

Until I started seeing my new GP. He agrees that there are worse things than a non responsive dick, but this was something we could fix and something that could improve my quality of life. After finding my testosterone levels to be in line with a guy my age, he offered to prescribe me Viagra!

I have yet to pick it up and yet to find a guy to try it with, but think this will give me the confidence to ask a guy out, to not have to worry that IT will cause me embarrassment yet again

your new GP sounds like a great guy, he understands that having a sexual relationship of any kind is important , maybe not the main concern but a little blue pill can make u more confident, more relaxed, more fulfilled etc , that's got to have health benefits so im pleased you found him - now go spread the joy Smile

If it helps you to have a normal love life and boost your confidence, and granted that it does no harm to your health, then, go for it, sir Xyxthumbs

Sex is not everything.

There are more important things in life.
But you are young, so it is understandable.

You have to work on your mentality, and how you perceive yourself.

Unless you are just wanting one night stands........there are men out there who will appreciate you for who you are, and work around the issues you may have.

Ive seen couples here in Texas, where one guy was in a wheelchair and the other was not.
Ive seen couples where one guy was handicapped, and the other was not.
Ive seen couples where one guy was just horrific to look at, and the other one was not (accident that left his face deformed).

There ARE men out there who are NOT shallow, self absorbed, and weak minded. They are not scared of what needs to be done. They are hard to find, but they are out there.

I would think something like this is where the phrase "love conquers all" comes to mind.

Work on being a good guy and getting yourself out there. Dont worry so much about getting the plumbing to work.

A lot of it could be psychological too. Who knows, you find a guy who likes you for just being you, then you may get a boner that will last a month. I have heard of that happening.

ED is a complex condition and testosterone is not the only factor, there are other tests that should be done in cases like these.

I also consulted a urologist a few years ago because of my ED (purely psychogenic, in my case) and I did a series of tests before he prescribed me Cialis.

Viagra works but it's not the only option. I am currently taking Cialis + Zyprima (apomorphine) before sex. Drugs that stimulate the parasympathetic nervous system (e.g. phentolamine, an approved ED med in several countries) may be useful in cases like yours.

Consult your doctor before you decide to try any new treatment or supplement, self medication is always a risk.

Good for you man!

I wish I could get something prescribed that does just the opposite.

I need to get my mind off of sex,
and onto far more important things.

The doctor did do other tests as well, not just testosterone. He even commented that except for my MS, I am in perfect health!

There are guys that don't place having an erection on a "must have" list and my ex was one of them. He enjoyed the few erections I did manage and he gave me pleasure in bed more than just penile stimulation.

But yet I am only a guy, I do want the pleasure of having a blowjob, I do want to rub one out while watching porn and I too want to be able to get erect. Is it on my "must have" list? No. But there are a lot of things denied to me that most people take for granted, if there was a lil pill that could give me one of them, I'd take it.
