oh noes, gurl dats alotta money enuh?

Heck I'm not sure what the hell BMD(My money) is in your money, but anything with 5 zeros after a number and I'm down bitch lol

I think they get paid for like all the risks they could be possibly undertaking, such as concussions and all that blah blah and obviously for the entertainment factor.

Saying alla dat, to say ah dis, me personally... I don't like football, don't like sports much for that matter, but in the end, I don't necessarily care that they are getting paid that much, what I do care about is who isn't getting paid enough because of it.

Fuck bitches who get paid and complain, I wanna know why if they can afford to spend that kind of Euro or pound (I barely know the difference gurl) on sweaty stinky men, then why aren't people who are integral to society getting paid more?

No hate pon de Footballers or sports people, but honestly, it almost seems as if it's an outdated idea that you pay people to play a sport, in which they probably love and are the only thing they're good at, for the sake of entertainment pleasures and for old traditions or whatever.

I think America was once like "THE" Football(not Soccer) state and so kinda prides on that, but if all the doctors and stuff who have to treat those players when they get knocked the fuck out by an incoming tackle, are not getting paid enough, then clearly there is a problem.

That's my issue. I don't care about them getting paid so much as I do why aren't other professions, which most likely have a more integral role, getting paid as much or more so?

Tl;dr

1) Not every footballer is on £200,000 a week. Not many footballers are in fact. It all depends on where they're playing and how good they are. Most players are in between £10,000-£50,000. Still a lot I admit.

2) They'll get taxed a considerable amount, more than me and you by a lot. So it helps fund the country I suppose. The more money going into football, the more they get taxed. The more the government get from football clubs etc...

3) They're getting paid by the owners of the football clubs. They're getting paid by billionaires not the government. So unless you purchase something from the club or the owner, none of your money is paying for a footballer to play football. - If someone wants to pay that amount of outrageous money for player out of his own pocket then so be it. It can actually be good investment.

I don't get why this bothers people so much. I'm more annoyed about the people who get paid from our taxes for doing irrelevant stuff.

I hate how skewed the money system is. Sad
Some people just make so much money its crazy and then some people work 2 jobs come home and do odd jobs just to make ends meet. if you think 200,000 a week is crazy though look at bill gates Big Grin
with ought all his charity donations he would probably be worth almost 100 billion by now.
Lets say he started earning money when he was 18, he is currently 58 so 40 years, 100 billion. he makes about 6.8 million$ per day 365.24 days/year since he was 18 (on average), ugh some people Big Grin.

To all the people on here who are saying football/soccer players kind of deserve that much money because of the risks involved in a sports injury - I'd just like to say I've stood eerily close to ultra high voltage transformers, buses, and all these other electrical doohickeys you probably don't think of. I of course try to see the power plants at my job any chance I get so I can get out of the office and see some engineering, but I work with guys who work in power plants for the majority of the job where the threat of an arc flash forever looms at any unknown moment. My ass they deserve that many figures from the risk of a sports injury.
But at least the sports players are payed that much money by private businessmen and not the government.

mmmm....if that's the rule, then I should be paid 5 times what they earn...

working with strong acids, carcinogenic chemicals, toxic methanol and all......I even developed an allergy to N,N,N′,N′-Tetramethyl-O-(benzotriazol-1-yl)uronium tetrafluoroborate.....yep

LOL talking about risks is ridiculous, oh gosh, they're playing. When you're a kid you have the same risks, and if you injure yourself PLAYING your mother will kill you XD, not taking you to the luxury hospital etc. etc etc.
If you have any doubt if 200.000 (or similar) is too much or not... Well, our society is crazy.

I know they can generate a big business, but ehrm, a big, big, big, (fundamental) part of this business is also the guys who sells 10000 hot dogs around the stadium, the staff of the cleaners, the security etc. But adding all of their salaries they cannot reach the one who play with a ball...

And I don't need to start to talk of people that really take risks doing a job, or people with an high level of education...
______

This is something that make me upset... Cause in Italy everything is like this.

I think it is everywhere now. Its just annoy, some arrogant 20 year old getting 200 grand a week for kicking a ball, even if it was 50 grand a month id think that would be too much so this just befuddles me.
