Avocado in bread is nothing compared to the shit we do with food. People wonder why we make Banana Bread straight from da Banana and all that, but gurl fuck it.

Avocado is like our unofficial fruit xD

You now have my full respect. Court Adjourned.

Avocado is not a fruit, you fruit.

Banana bread is freeking awesome.

Never had avacado bread, but ANYTHING with avacado CANNOT be BAD!!!!

I dont like to eat in the morning, but if I did, it would be one of three top choices:

* Biscuits and sausage gravy with bacon and scrambled eggs with strawberry jam.
* Pecan waffles with REAL Maple syrup, sausage links, bacon, and fried eggs.
* Chili cheese omelet stuffed with sauteed mushrooms, onions, and bacon, and TONS of cheese.

Of course LOTS of coffee!!!

My ideal breakfast is Hash browns (the real thing, not that shaped and pressed patty shit) with a little onion, loads of bacon and a bit of scrambled eggs. Some days a really cheap but expertly cooked steak can substitute for bacon. I made this for my mom last week. Yummy. Breakfast in bed would be nice if there was someone there with me that I could cook for. He could eat naked so I could lick the crumbs off of him for brunch Smile

So fuck you Mr.Tinkles. How are you gonna tell a person who has grown up surrounded by them and eating them his whole life, what an Avocado is? x.x

We actually call them Avacada-pears. It's a fruit hunni.

~

Also Banana bread straight from the Banana tree, is so amazing. It's not processed or anything. Not sure if they grow in South America like they do here, but if so, try to find one and mash up the banana, put it in a pan/loaf pan or whatever and cook gurl!

Yuh never heard de song "Mr Talley Mon"(Aka Banana Boat?) ? - "Come Mr.Talley Mon, Talley de Banana, daylight come and me wan fi go home" But it's actually "Dali mi Banana" if we're getting technical. Edit; Dali is the term in which to say "Give me Banana, but we tend to say "Talley" here.

My Mama is an expert! She needs to teach me how to do it, cause she makes them like soo well! x.x

Nope, banana trees are a Caribbean thing, mostly...

we do get imported banana fruits here, though

Cubans have the same issues, coming here...they miss fried bananas straight from the banana tree..

the song, the song...I recognize it from "Beetlejuice"

T-T oh no. Well I'll send you some :p as soon as I learn how to xD

But yeah, it's weird to have store bought Bananas, cause ever since I was young, I was just used to eating fruits right from the tree.

Now we're a bit more modern, but as with most places, some of us prefer the older ways.

My Sister doesn't really like much of anything "Island" and she's only 9 years younger than me. She don't like reggae, soca, she prefers all that Ariana Grande lol

Goes to show how quickly things change, but I digress.

and Beetle juice was so gross x.x I never liked that show and Jim Carey is a very odd man :|
