southbiochem Wrote:Actually, Tinkles, avocados are fertilized flowers from the Persea americana tree...meaning they ARE in fact fruits..

I wish I knew how banada bread tasted liked Cry sounds good

What is "banada bread"?? LOL

If avacados are "fruits", then WHY are they labeled as VEGETABLES, sold as VEGETABLES, advertised as VEGETABLES, the seeds sold as VEGETABLE seeds, and put in VEGETABLE related recipes???????

People are stupid Tinkles, easy as that.

even the basic kindergarten knowledge of wikipedia tells you it's a fruit...and quite in fact...it's a freaking berry

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Avocado

you can even tell just physonomically that avocados fill all the characteristics of a fruit

Well, when I was in school, tomatoes and avacados were taught as vegetables.
If they were fruits, the would be identified with the fruits, not the vegetables.

Not arguing with you, just telling you fact.

Yes, I know. It's actually very prevalent over here to teach tomatoes and avocado as vegetables too...it's a bit hard to fight that notion when you grow up....and quite in fact, I don't even know where it comes from..

tomatoes are a bit of a fight, but avocados definitely fall into the fruit category..albeit, an unconventional fruit mostly because of it's uses in food

And to the rest of it, fuck that hunni, it's a fruit. It grow pon tree, it fruit.

Simple as that. It grow inna ground, it Vegetable, that's what we were taught.

I realize there may be some exceptions, but not this time.

and even if it by some chance was a vegetable, it wouldn't matter, cause Marzy and I will still eat them, make bread out of them and do whatever the fuck we want with them, so thanks <3

Love you boo Hands-make-heart

So, by your own words, if it grows on a tree, its fruit.

Hmmmm, thats news to me.

You might want to tell the nut industry about that. They apparently been selling pecans, walnuts, hazlenuts, chestnuts, and hickory nuts under false categories.

im used to heavy breakfast..

Fried Rice, egg then hotdog or any fried meat with tomatoes
Its called SiLog meal in the Philippines.

When in a hurry, bread with any meat spread or cheese is okay..

I seldom eat cereals or oatmeals.. I feel like i would starve by 10am or so if thats the case..

And speaking of Bananas, its my fave fruit, im happy its abundant here in my country. My mom told me though i should eat it before meals
