Christmas............the "low down"
#1
First, having a "white" Christmas is a completely AMERICANIZED gimmick. Yes, GIMMICK!!!

Although Jesus (if such a person ever actually existed) was never born in winter, the date was moved around because of one religious reason or another. (read the articles below)

Having "snow" at Christmas was just an occurrence of winter advertisements, greeting cards and Cmas images in the winter time, and sales gimmicks. Later on, it was re-enforced by movies and music, and the greeting card industry.

The REAL "Christ"mas is unknown....

I always set my security question to "Why am I dreaming of a white Christmas" so I can say "Because you're a racist." just to hear them awkwardly, have a mini freak-out.

Scientists say Jesus was born June 17.. And its summer. This christmas is just a gimmick to get money from people and sell lots of goods

And i just dont understand the whole idea that its the birth of Jesus but then most Catholics would make Santa Claus (St Nicholas) the focal point of the event
