Documentaries..?

Hiii,

So was wondering if anyone else here likes to watch them..? I do when
the mood strikes. I've watched a few as of late, 'This Film is Not Yet Rated',
'Bullying', 'Bridegroom', and 'There's Something Wrong With Aunt Diane'.

They don't really have to be about LGBTQ topics, anything really..!

Just pretty much clicking on play if the tittle strikes, but looking for
suggestions if anyone knows of really good tittles

Have you watched Food inc.? I think it's worth watching.

My personal favorite is "The Cove". It's about dolphins killed in Japan. I was really upset after watching this one.

Maybe, you should specify the genre or tell us what you're interested in. way too many documentaries to mention

'This Film is Not Yet Rated' is pretty good. It exposes the hypocricy of the MPAA even if it gets a little tiring watching director after director whine on about censorship (even if complaints are completely justified).

"Soviet Storm: WWII in the East" is pretty good, although long..it's a documentary series..and I noticed that you and everyone seem to be talking about documentary films..

I liked "Kung Fu killers: 10 deadliest weapons" that was fun

oh..."Fahrenheit 9/11" that is my all time favorite documentary film so far

I dont have any in-particular. I was addicted to PBS documentaries way before cable TV came into being.

I watched about every "UFO" documentary there was in the 70's and 80's.
I watched some "monsters" documentaries, usually they were about Nessie or Sasquatch.
I watch a lot on "ghosts" and what supposedly happens after you die.
I love "haunted" documentaries.....the REAL ones, not these fake TV "reality" shows.
I watch a few on theme parks around the world, especially roller coasters.
I have watched a lot of them on Pharaohs and Czars. I especially like ones about Rasputin.
I have watched a lot on scientific theories that have to do with space, time, light, parallel universes, and that sort of thing.
Ive watched some on human biology.
And Ive seen a few on modern warfare and technology for the future.

But all in all......my fav is "UFO's". Especially X-Files type of stuff. Ive watched that stuff for hours and hours.

I like documentaries, especially about nature and culture (or Art, obviously eheh)
Like the movies, I enjoy documentaries about 'real and/or cultural things'.

Recently i watched -via youtube- a naturalistic 3 episode series about lions in South Africa: The Lion Ranger. I really loved that, I felt a lot of emotions.
I'm looking for a documentary about the African Nuba tribe, but I founded it only in french (or german, I don't remember), without subtitles... I don't understand french.
Oh, and maybe I will re-watch Basquiat soon.

Thanks for the suggestions, but I don't really have a specific topic in
mind, but I usually enjoy things like 'Super Size Me' his type of docs are
pretty cool. I have yet to watch the one about product placement in shows
and movies.. etc.

I like some conspiracy docs, but most of it are literally out of this world.
I liked 'Fahrenheit 9/11' and 'Bowling for Columbine' and another one by
the same guy, some of it I can agree on, but not all of it.

'This Film is Not Yet Rated', was okay. I like the bit where the directors
were comparing what was not allowed in their movies to movies that got
away with far more worse things and how it's much more acceptable to have
violence in movies than sex, lol.

But keep'em coming if you know some more

The Imposter... I get chills when I think of it

Its about a boy from Texas who disappeared when he was 13..
Then years later, the family of the boy found a french man who exactly looks like the boy.
..The FBI even asked some questions, like getting a picture with their relatives in it and the boy can tell the names of her aunts, uncle etc

The french guy confessed he is an imposter and the family accepted it.. He confessed that he impersonates boys who are missing to have a better life. It was evident that he had a different shade of eyes, and he dyed his hair blonde to make him look like the missing boy.

It was assumed that some family members knew the reason of the disappearance of the boy.. That's why they just accepted the imposter. Did they killed him or what??

However, the french trickster has a family of his own already and he claims to have assumed 500 fake identities
