Now I know that most of these visits are probably from robots but it must mean something in terms of popularity.... what do you guys and gals think? (not seen too many gals sign up lately, incidentally).

I think you'll find Albert's referring to spiders - automated bots that are run by search engines like google.co.uk - they "crawl" over sites and scan them to add pages and data back into their search engines ... check out the who's online page and odds are you'll find a few scuttling about right now mile:.

We had noticed that, Marshlander and I, I believe, but now I've got used to it, I reckon... So I don't know what to say about too many boards... Makes choosing the right one to post on sometimes a bit difficult.

I actually think this is something that YOU can alter in your profile preferences... I may be wrong but I think you can choose how many posts you wish to see on any given page... Check it out, Twister.
