I have browsed this forum for a couple of months and this post has bothered me. No offense Mbennet but looks like you were just wanting some attention. I am just going to say what everyone doesnt have the balls to say. You are kind of annoying.

Hmm.

Internalization of issues leads to self destructive behaviors. If Meebles, or for that matter, anyone - doesn't have a safe place to blow off steam, rant, explode, whimper like a wounded child, they have no other choice then but to roll their shit up into tight tiny balls and swallow them.

That works in the short term, in the long term those tiny, tightly rolled up balls of shit end up exploding, becoming interesting things like ulcers, or alcoholism, or drug addiction. Or something that is more inclusive like going to a movie theater with loaded guns and blowing away as many people as one can before being shot themselves.

Yeah I know this isn't really the best and healthiest way to deal with shit, but its an attempt to communicate 'I'm hurting'. It is a far cry better than a person not saying anything and eventually overloading themselves and exploding.

Since you are a lurker clearly you have been keeping up and know that Meebles has a lot on his plate, so can understand if he acts out some of his anxiety and stresses here as a way to vent. Right?

Browsing for a forum for a few months hardly accounts to getting to know a person..

mbennet35 (whom I speak to on a weekly basis) was dealing with several issues and also was seeing a number of things here in this forum that personally affected him. He tought that leaving for a while was the best course of action. I talked him out of it and I bet others did too, since this is a place where he is greatly appreciated, he decided to stay and I distinctly remember him saying that he was worried to no end that what you said would happen "people will think I was looking for attention"

Fortunately people here know him better than that, and as such only an outsider, ignorant of the situation has so far said anything of the sort

We have had a couple members leaving and then coming back on account of personal issues, we have even had people deleting their accounts on personal issues and then have come back once they had a clear head..

so far not one of them have been called upon and told they were seeking attention, you know why? WE KNOW EACH OTHER

So the next time you decide that a type 1 diabetic, home bound, with a poor economic situation, and depression is "annoying", keep your mouth shut cause I bet you didn't know any of that, now did you?

You know what's MY definition of annoying? Someone joining a forum solely to insult someone.

No offence jandy005, but its people like you who express opinions about others without having any knowledge of their situation thats kind of annoying.

People take breaks from the forum for all sorts of reasons, and they certainly don't need your or anyone else's permission to do so.

Actually, what's really annoying is somebody who lurks for months and doesn't have the balls to say anything, and then when they finally do post, it's to insult someone.

I have had a long talk with my balls, and neither of them thinks that meebles is an attention whore.


Mbennet/meebles/MB has been pretty much cooped up in a house for quite some time now. We all know that. If you have ever been cooped up in one place for a long time, you know it can mess with your mind sometimes.

Besides, lots of people have posted "goodbye" threads, and either did not leave or they came back. Me included.
