jogu656 Wrote:My first movie by him was "My neighbor Totoro" when it was released under 20th Century Fox in the 90's before Disney bought the rights to all his work. "Castle in the Sky" is amazing I agree.

I like My neighbour Totoro as well , I think it is a really good innocent film with no actual villain in it , not many film makers could make a film that children and adults can enjoy without a villain, centre to the storyline.

In the UK we used to have a couple of TV stations that would show anime quite a bit , but now there is hardly anything shown any more Sad

I also have liked Digimon , Gundam and Battle Angel Alita so my interest is quite varied Lol

Just watched Level-E, i really loved the manga years ago, Togashi is my favorite mangaka ever, with Fujita.
But they're so different, Togashi is closer to a true Artist (especially his personality, I think) Fujita is a wonderful storyteller...

I read very good reviews about Level-E (anime), but to me is non great as the manga. Is still funny, and the main character is *___* LOL

Look at all the that awesome story build up the turned into a non-existent ending:biggrin:
sorry, loved the show but there needs to be a second season even if it differs greatly from the manga. I find it hard to believe they can't work around the changes so that we can get some actual closer.

One Week Friends just ended. Anyone looking for a cuteness overload and an easy-going romantic slice-of-life anime might want to check that one out. The story seems like it was stolen from ef: A Tale of Memories since it has a similar amnesia thing going on. Moreover, the girl's voice is almost as annoying as Chihiro's. But, nonetheless, it's one of the better titles of this genre.
