Its been said, that the high vitamin content in a lot of these drinks can cause rapid deterioration of some inside body parts.
The human body is not able to withstand certain bombardments of high levels of certain vitamins.
Some flush out of your body easily, like Vitamin C and Vitamin D. High levels of Vitamin B and Vitamin E can be good for you, if you are active during the day. The rest of them can literally rot your insides over time.
So I have heard. I have not found any medical evidence backing this up yet.
I have worked with people who drink this stuff all day, every day. Their personalities change the more they drink, because the high saturation of chemicals and vitamins changes the physiology of your body and how it works.
One a day should not hurt you at all. I would think one in the morning would be ok. Especially if you don't eat in the morning. It will give you energy and you will burn it all off by the end of the day.
If you do end up drinking more than one a day, mix it with water or fruit juice. Make it last a while so you don't feel you have cheated yourself out of another one.
I would also suggest, for each energy drink you have in one day, you drink at least one gallon of water through that day, unless your Dr has stated you are a candidate for vitamin deficiency, then just drink the usual amounts of water.
Just be careful.
