Experiment! Don't be afraid to be creative and try not to stick to strict recipes.

Not random stuff, but traditional cooking as taught by mom..

tomaticán, porotos granados, pastel de choclo...all the usual stuff in my country

sometimes I like to experiment with foreign stuff..like the use of coconut milk to cook rice that Central American countries are famous for....I find it tasty..

as for new stuff..I'm not much of an improviser

I have loved cooking for 4 decades and am now going to school to get my BA in Culinary Arts (already have another Degree). I have no idea why I did not do this 3 decades ago....

Cooking is not my strong point lol. I'd still wear the apron though, with the frills

I like to improvise in the kitchen but I don't usually have time to go all out so I only go crazy every once in a while.
