Why does this keep happening to me?! I'll try again:

Still not working and I don't know why. Here's a different link:

Now the original link works. This one contains a video:

I'm glad to see this. I grew up catholic and these scandals happened within the diocese I was in. And I know how the bishops just brushed it under the rug, moving priests, and making it seem like nothing happened. It really is disgusting.

That's why. Pay close attention to the format of your links. Make sure that there's a : in there, such as http://, otherwise we get sent to http.com

A link on a forum doesn't even need that part, since it gets added in automatically anyway. Sometimes when you enter it in yourself, it gets doubled up accidentally. Watch for that as well.

About damn time… The Catholic church is a criminal organisation full of paedophiles that hide under the disguise of "goodness" and think they can govern themselves… BS!

How can any catholic person keep following that religion.

Finally...

I suspect the scandal had something to do with the pope stepping down. Unfortunately, the church not working with authorites on this has not been reassuring. In addition, this problem seems to be universal... in the past few years, people have come forward in my own community --- it makes me wonder how long this has been going on for and if it has even stopped.

You can say that again! I can't imagine how many kids were abused while priests were protected and moved from church to church to church, allowing it to happen over and over.

The catholic church in Ireland (at least) has far too much power. It has destroyed many lives and has brainwashed so many and continues to do so. The quicker they are relieved of their power, the better and that means prosecuting the guilty!

Indeed, at last! Naturally the Vatican is hitting back http://www.reuters.com/video/2014/02/05/...oChannel=1

I do recommend Geoffrey Robertson's book, "The Case of the Pope" for anyone who wants a thoroughly well-researched read.
