Send the application. Stop hurting yourself, both physically and emotionaly.
Any further stalemate in your life, not geting out of where you are, WILL BE YOUR FAULT, CAUSE IT WAS YOUR CHOICE NOT TO SEND THAT APPLICATION.
MAKE THE DECISION TO DO WHAT IS CORRECT, TO OPT FOR THE CHANCE OF SOMETHING BETTER.
