Maybe so, but it's certainly a stereotype that's been proven time and time again. Like yeah, a lot of straight guys hate sports too. It's just a little frustrating never having that common interest with anyone.

Do you have a "type"? It may be that the kind of gay man you're attracted is unlikely to care for them. It's same for straights, if say a woman were attracted to brainy, in a band, or met him at a convention (Star Trek, cosplay, etc) then he's unlikely to be into sports, either.

I like watching rugby and I like to watch American football like the Super Bowl and love tennis but I agree I prefer to take part!!

Well now that you mention it, a lot of gay guys really do not like sports!
I feel like it could be because they'd rather just watch for the hot players than get involved in who scored the most touchdowns in the 1st inning on the ice (just kinda threw it all in one).

I like table tennis. It's pretty much the only sport that I will watch AND play.

I don't like watching sports because I find the thought of most of them boring. With some of them it's more than just the thought that's boring. There are simply other things I would rather be doing.

I've been to two football matches in my life. I saw Chelsea play Wolves at Stamford Bridge when I was about thirteen. I was struck by the vividness of the colours - the grass, the strip of both teams, but I don't think I have ever been so cold in my life. Horrid. The other match was when I was at a conference in the 90s. My boss (at the time) and his deputy were both rabid Norwich fans. I was frogmarched by them out of the conference on the Saturday because they wanted to see Norwich play Man City. Naturally I had no choice - they had an arm each and bundled me into the car. Guess which of the three of us was stopped and searched by security?! I can't actually remember anything about the match except for being irritated about missing an interesting seminar.

The last time PA and I went to New York we went to Yankee Stadium. The whole stop, search and steal your stuff thing did not put me in a good mood to begin with, but the whole event just left me cold. Little white dots on a field far below that seemed to do a lot of standing around before they left the field for the advertising breaks on the giant screens, while spectators ignored the action and stuffed their faces with massively overpriced junk food waiting for the camera to point their way so they could share their gurning techniques to the apparent delight of the rest of the stadium. I couldn't believe there was a more boring sport than cricket, but I found it that night. My son who lives in the US, was annoyed with me. He told me I should "embrace the culture and I might learn something". That may be so, but at my age life is too short.

To be honest I may have inherited my antipathy towards sport from my experiences of bullying P.E. teachers in school, or maybe my father's willingness to watch and become very involved with any and every sporting event on television.

I like some sports… particularly Skiing (all types), Hockey, and Running-Sports.

But I guess (other than hockey) those aren't necessarily "big-name" sports… at least not to some people.

I'm one of the stereotypes. Hate most team sports/professional sports.

I do watch the Olympics each time they're aired.

To be honest i was quite sporty before...i loved basketball, badminton, volleyball...

But then when i reached college, sports fluctuated since i focused a lot on my study...on my grades...everything about college.

I still watched college basketball games then supporting my school. I even go to the arena, go early to ticket booths so i can have the best seat.. I even analyze the games and post it on the forums, i am so addicted... I just dont like it when opposing crowds are fighting and teasing each other cause im a silent watcher

Also loved football and became a huge fan of FC Barcelona...

But right now, i dont know, i am more into traveling. Its hard to have too much interests at a time.. Im a bit indifferent towards sports at the moment

I can't watch sports anymore Because of a lot of other videos Ive see that involve a bunch of attractive sweaty men in close proximity (some closer than others).
