Thanks Evan. I'm not even sure if we're gonna meet this December,so I'm not gonna put up any hope at all on that. Thanks for that information,I don't think he's doing for charity as he was called by the Spanish embassy to pay his contract (for his scholarship I suppose),but yeah,it's probably better that he takes his annual leave on December with Christmas and his birthday which falls around Christmas as well. I'll try to continue communicating with him,but it's not gonna be easy since he's not used to keeping online friendship,he's not even used to initiating conversation first,LOL.

You're confusing nationality with ethnicity.

Being Spanish as in having Spanish parents while being born in another country, sure. But that nationality still comes from Spain (through the parents) and not anywhere else.
