Birthdays............Love 'em or Leave 'em?
#1
Some people cannot wait to have their next Birthday, while others cringe in fear of it.

Do you like to celebrate your Birthday? If so, what do you like to do? Do you have any Birthday traditions?

If you do not like to celebrate your Birthday, do you do anything instead of it? Or is it just another day of the week to you?

I haven't celebrated my birthday the past two years, but not because I don't like birthdays. Just didn't feel like it. In general, I love the party and all that comes with it.

People consider Birthdays as holidays, when they are not. I would rather celebrate a persons Birthday than have any holiday, because a celebrating a Birthday is saying "Im glad you were born, cause I like to have you here". Holidays are just money making scams.

It depends on the year.

I haven't celebrated my Birthday in ages, like a proper party with
friends and fam. Maybe this year, once I sort everything out financially
and I'm ready to move out.. Maybe I'll do something..

I don't fear my birthday, nor do I look forward to it, I'm indifferant to my birthday because I am not one of those people that like to be gifted or just 'that sort' of attention. It's just another day.

I don't consider birthdays as holidays..

I'm merely compating my own to Holidays in the hope of letting it be noticed how much I loathe it

It's good for free stuff/money and an excuse to do something special with my friends and immediate family, so sure, I don't mind.

For my own, if it's a big year, perhaps… but I far prefer celebrating everyone else's. And Cher's birthday is a whole 90s dance party with my fellow Cher-lovers (the few of them)!

But I do like the whole idea of non-commercialism. X-mas just gets too trashy and plastic for my tastes.
