#1
This pass summer I visit Puerto Plata, DR and I met someone who lives there. this guy chasm me to my feet. he was just fishing for a foreign tourist, and like an idiot I bite the bait. it took a second visit to figure out the whole scam. after a few thousands of dollars lost.
where can I expose this rat? I don't want anyone else to go for the same trap. he got his profile listed in several gay web pages, but when I did a search of his name in the web prior to my lost nothing came back. obviously nobody bother to expose this guy, can someone help me?

Use your search engine, and use terms like:

"con artist complaints"
"out a con artist"
"report a con artist"

And whatever website he is registered on, you can file a complaint with the website administrator file a complaint with the website and demand to have him exposed as a con artist and have his information removed from that website.

this guy is really poor. I come from the same roost, but different country. that is why I was so touch. plus I believe some sorts of the bible. give someone a fish and he will eat for a day teaching how to fish and will eat his whole life. I really thougth he was sincere. I was mistaking and totally blind.

If you have proof that you've been scammed (conversation records, bank withdraws, etc.), you can probably open a civil case against him. Scams like this happen all of the time. I won't make you feel like an idiot for falling for something like this, but be careful in the future!!! Don't fall for it a second time! Sorry to hear about this --- try not to let suspicion ruin any chances in the future, but simultaneously try to be careful.
