Why are there so many gay men single and remain single for a long time

I really liked being single and was never looking for "that guy". I was a slut and I am not sorry about it nor will I apologize. I think shame and guilt are overrated. I really LIKE men in general...I like being in the company of men...and I like having sex with men. My dream when I was young was having thousands of boyfriends and flings...NOT getting married and settling down

But then I was "captured" and fell in love with one guy...and am quite happy about it.

I'd like to be in a relationship but it's more so on finding the right person...so far, no right person has come along

Some see value in relationships, right or wrong, for the sake of relationshipping despite perfection. This is how one learns to relationship best. And this can easily mean choosing to be alone if that's what I want and need to be satisfied.

I will add however that happiness can be achieved alone, but "like a kiss is best shared with others" (quoting Bernard Melzer).
