it's so stupid -___-

It's like the whole world think so... and we are all against the world...

No big deal, I cry at stuff like that too. Movies, songs, TV shows, you name it.

What do you think? Should we be less dramatic and emotional? If so, how do you harden yourselves to be more tough? I don't want to look weak...

Thanks in advance.

PS: Sorry, guys. I've been away for a while. Good to see you again.

Congratulations, you're a human being. Smile

Nothing wrong about crying in movies, that's what movies are all about: an emotional experience.

It's good, it's healthy, it's cathartic and the movie theatre is dark, so nobody's watching anyway.

Whats a "sand story"?

I cry at some movies. Born Free is one movie I cry A LOT watching. I think I go through at least half a box of tissue.

The graveyard scene from Steel Magnolias gets me a blubberin for about 20 minutes.

A.I. was also sad in the end, as was The 6th Sense, and both versions of Imitation of Life.

Of course Im 6'-4" tall and around 250+ pounds, so nobody is gonna be making fun of me for crying.

Most people don't care if you cry at a sad movie, as they are probably crying too. Yeah, even the guys.

I'll admit that when you said "hardened", I thought of something else... That aside...

I think that you should just be you. If you feel like being tough, be tough but don't let it get to your head, as it can lead to promiscuity, drugs, alcohol and the like...
Personally, I don't care. I will just be myself! If someone thinks I'm a wimp, then I just let them think that! Maybe I am! Tongue

But I think that you should just let yourself be who you want to be. Like, cry if you have to! BAWL if you have to! Limp wrist if you want, it is all up to you!

Good to see you again too..

It's actually harder trying to reverse constant emotional supression than to just let yourself feel.

Trust me...you don't want to.

Work on controling your emotions just enough so you can avoid some embarrasing moments (I mean important moments) but don't worry about stuff like movies or so.

I also cry seeing real things, but I can't help myself even if it's just a movie.

Sorry. Just realized it is sand story, it should be sad story. My mistake. Corrected.
